Soil Studies
Finca Las Piedras

The soils of Finca Las Piedras are heterogeneous. We have defined four soil types ranging from Deep to White Caliche, a soil composed entirely of stone with limestone.

White Caliche is the soil we choose for our Las Piedras wine.

Finca Perico

In this 2-hectare block of Chardonnay at Finca Perico, we delineate three sectors that provide grapes for three different wines depending on soil type.

We use the deep soil for the Pet Nat. For the Chardonnay, we use a mix of soils ranging from intermediate to White Caliche, and for Perico we use only Pink Caliche soil.
